S-Curve Labs

Tools for data

Tools for the people who run the numbers.

S-Curve Labs builds software for working with data: Power BI models, Power Query, SQL databases, project schedules and the apps built on them. Each tool does one job and is careful about it.

The first release is a set of five MCP servers that give AI assistants direct access to that work.

How we build

The files these tools open are the ones a project or a report depends on.

Read first

Most of what a data tool does is look: trace, measure, check. That part never changes your files.

Show the change first

When a tool does write, you see the exact change before it happens, and you decide whether it runs.

Runs where your data is

Tools run on your own machine against your own files and databases. Your data is not uploaded anywhere.

Why the name. Plot cumulative cost or progress on almost any project and you get an S: a slow start, a steep middle where most of the work happens, and a long flat finish. The steep middle is where these tools are meant to help.
